Ania takes care of a luxurious villa in the middle of the Masurian forests. It serves wealthy renters who come there to relax. Her next guests are two couples: the charismatic Leon with the attractive Eleni and the honest Bruno with his long-time girlfriend - Magda. Bruno recognizes Ania, eight years earlier her sister Monika was Leon's girlfriend and died in a bomb explosion in his car. Neither testimony brought down Leon, who was sentenced to eight years in prison for murder.
